We will spend a Day in the Life of the colonial village of Maras known for its nearby evaporation salt ponds of Salineras, which have been harvested since Inca times.

Today we explore the valley south of Cuzco, beginning with a drive to Oropesa. This small town is known for special bread called pan Chuta.
Discover the “Peruvian Sistine Chapel”, a church concealing golden altars, magnificent paintings, and vibrant ceilings.
Enjoy a gourmet outdoor picnic surrounded by the most magnificent landscapes in Cusco.
We will explore Tipon, this agricultural experimentation center is a marvel of hydraulic engineering.
